I was in the beta for EQ2 and tried numerous times to stay interested in it. The graphics were much better than EQ, but I did/do not like the play style very much. LOTRO is similar, but we have a group there so I play it.

Silly me, I just like the sandbox approach that EQ presents. I would rather not be tied to rails to progress.

The FTP EQ will have a Golden Path available for those who like to punch a list to progress. Same old blocky graphics though, that does not bother me very much.

Hello!

It's nice to be back and back into EQ again.

*sigh* I had my first death tonight. I was strongly hoping to make it past level 20 before dying. Oh well, I have level 12 to beat with my next character.
