Froglok Escort

After days camping this guy Tiki finally managed to kill him this morning. Part of a quest to upgrade the newbie weapon, Tiki turned in the pie looted off the Escort and an NPC spawned that was the next step in the quest. The idea was to kill the NPC but he ran away before that could happen. Back to square one.

Found him again, was happily killing the Escort when along came Bloodgorge (remember him?).

so lucky, OMG! I found the Escort yet again, had an add but even though I knew I would die managed to kill the Escort and loot the pie - happy days. When I went to do the turn-in, no pie. Obviously it was at the top of my inventory and I ate it!

killed by a froglok gaz knight, then 2 more times by an iksar marauder while recovering my corpse, lost a level

Maybe we should set aside a night to do this together...you have worse luck than I do.

I may want a hand with the turn-in if I find another pie. Might help to have someone standing outside to engage the quest mob before he runs away. I'm starting to think that other warriors aren't doing this quest, because I never see them in the swamp.

Only 3 deaths so far today, including to a man eating plant. Tiki has regained his lost level and will try to stay far enough ahead that he doesn't delevel again.

Finally managed to find and kill the escort and with SamL's help at the turn-in site was able to complete the quest!

The next warrior weapon quest involves looting weapons from goblin hunters. We aren't quite ready for that.
