Mac Bug

Post by SamL »

I have the famous bug that has been around forever, no fixes. The wall to the next room goes blank and I can’t see what is there, have to run in with faith. It is a killer for me. It did not happen till I bought VIP, I would not have bought it. For now, count me out. 😐

Very sorry to hear this. It seems that some Mac users have minimized the occurrence of this problem by turning down some graphics settings, particularly those related to shadows and lighting quality. I've also heard that running the Windows version in an emulator on Mac doesn't have this problem.

I wish there was some way to make it go away. I was really excited to have you join us.

Downloading now, just I case, what level and characters are we playing? I have decided against the Mechanic as I don’t want to be hunting crossbow bolts all the time. Still Rogue with spot, unlock and all the other roguely things maxed. I can get to level 4 if needs be, on The airship .

Well, our highest that we were playing together on Orien is only level 3, a Paladin and Rogue duo. We have other level 1 and 2 alts. We likely don't need 2 rogues, so I say we have a set group for when the 3 of us can play. If you want to do Rogue Sam, Cab and I can easily play other classes. I love most of them in this game, so I'm happy with whatever.

Thanks for trying to join us. I truly hope you can find a system than can run the game reliably enough.

Question on character. I bought the iconic rogue and moved him to Korthos as a level one, naked and barehanded. He is using a rusty mace now. He can level whenever he wants, so will stay up with you guys. The only thing OP maybe is his AOE Chain whip. What are your thoughts? I can start another rogue if you want, no biggie.

Windows computer works!

It would be almost impossible for me to get a character to level 4 by Thursday and 3 would not be easy. I have a level 2 ranger and level 1 wizard, am willing to make anything else.

It makes no difference to me, is there a need for Tank, Healer and DPS? I have been having fun with a Gnome Artificer lately also.

We can always use a hireling to tank or heal. They are not overpowered like EQ mercs at low levels.
