I think a bind is a must if are playing there. There should be someone in the guild who would do it if nothing else. A bind in GFay would even work, not nearly as far to run as from Freeport.

You got rid of the mage and made a warrior? I thought you said you preferred rogue. Having trouble making up your mind or just being flexible?

Most people do not like to tank. If someone else wants to tank, I will bring a Rogue. Got a bite on Mage already.

Cab, make an entry on the Ankle Biters post. Makes it look like something is moving.

I'm surprised that the gnome group isn't generating at least a little interest. The one guy who said he'd join us has been playing on the P99 server for 3 years so is probably bored with a lot of the content. I thing most other people have "leveling fever".

Yeah I tried to goad some interest with my take it to the whole server post. They are gaining so many members, no one knows what is going on. I am just going to cool it with my players, they don't need my toons to help the guild. If I hadn't promised to stay with them I would drop out. The is a new guild called "The Pumpkin Patch Kids" with a name like that it seems like fun.

I will stay around and keep writing Dragrd's Journal. Leveling him slowly and lots of alts. Speaking of alts, I started a Half Elf Ranger out of Surefall. He is a copy of my first ever character, level 6 right now. Name is Deiden.

By the way, have you done the Jaggedpine Staff quest, getting the upper and lower parts of a staff and turning them in to that loudmouth Druid that runs around hollering about the bears? Gnoll Hunters drop the parts, right in front of BB.

It is a magic 1HB slightly faster than the Cracked Staff and magic for the Wispies in a few levels.

I thought when the guild started that to get in you had to fill out an application on the web site. They certainly aren't doing that now. And yes they certainly don't need us. If we left I doubt they would notice. I still have hope for the new gnome TNFC. I think it will be fun.

Yes I have the Jaggedpine Staff, is probably my main weapon for the magic and stats but I think the giant snake fang has a little more dps. Maybe we could try a duo one of these days with Dragrd and my ranger (treehugger but not a druid). I'm keeping my taunt maxed, would be interesting to see how well it works.

You are evil evil men.....

IF I did this ( big IF) how exactly do I do it? And do I uninstall the EQ already on my machine?
Also, a gnome makes the worst cleric (low wisdom). Could she be a halfling? Still short.....

No uninstall. I would recommend having your son install. We will give you info if needed. As for Gnomes, how great do you think a Warrior is? :). The idea is to have this group of Ankle biters running around killing things much bigger than them. Gnomes make good Int casters though. I would love to have you join, but with your trouble making certain nights, I think it would not work.

I still would love to Have you join us though. Maybe a different group. We could give LOTRO a rest while we do EQ sometimes. I have to tell you that it is addictive though.

Maybe Halflings, you can be Cleric, Cab and myself can work out what else to play.

Yes gnomes aren't very good at a lot of things but a gnome cleric would be fun!

You don't need to uninstall EQ, just do a clean install of Everquest Titanium in a different directory.

http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651 has instructions for the install.

You can download the files from ftp://tnfc.net/P99/
user: tnfc
password: the admin password that I can email you if you need it

The ftp directory has .iso files for the 5 Titanium CDs. To use them you will need to mount them using a utility like DT Lite which has a setup file in the ftp directory.

I tried uploading Duxa's All-in-One Installer to the ftp server, which seems to be recommended to take care of some of the configuration work, but the tnfc web site says it contains a virus and rejected it. I recommend avoiding Duxa's Installer!

We would love to have you try it. Is all old school, friendly people, busy server. We are trying for an all gnome group but if you really wanted to play something else I'm sure we would make an exception. :)
How about a gnome for Tuesday night and halfling or dwarf cleric for the rest of the week? I'm working on a dwarf warrior and Saml is making a bunch of alts too.

It's Free to Play!

If we could talk Teniny into trying it I think we could work something out with the gnome group. On nights when she couldn't make it I could play my cleric and then play catch up with my other gnome during the week.

I'd also be fine with our own halfling group, will make sure to save a character slot!

hmmmm, I will look for Titanium edition and think about this. SamL is right,my schedule is probably too volatile for a regular group other than us, but let's see.

My idea for this group is to have fun. We will level slowly and hopefully the gotta level fever does not set in. Lots of trade skills to do, even Gnome Shaped Cookies. :) The real Dragr still has some that Drolmara made for Menset's worm eating youngster. Have you started any TSs with your Gnomes yet Cab? At least two Plate wearers, ugg.

Cab has placed the Titanium Edition in the files here in case you misunderstood. If we played at other times, I suggest that Ten pick the characters, just all have to be the same alignment and close to each others starting towns. Loooong runs and boats only, available for transportation. I have been given free ports a few times though, people are very nice.
