Kill spiders and skellies, especially skellies - their clothes and weapons add up. One poison sac from a spider is about enough to buy a large box (same as a backpack).

Once I hit L3, loot started to come faster. Black wolf pelts are over 1g each. I just kept pounding away on wolves, skellies and spiderlings. It took a LONG time to get my first backpack. I often ran back into Neriak with all slots full and a piece of loot on my cursor. Funny thing is that when I had about 3 backpacks, the skellies decided to start dropping 4 slot bags.

Being a tradeskill hound, I kept what I could. With rusty weapons, I sharpened them before selling.

Given my recent luck selling in EC, I'd be happy to give each of you 6 backpacks if you want them.
