How much of the game is free? I think I was paying last time I played.

It seems like other games where you can do most things but have to pay for special races and classes. Some of the higher level content isn't free. Free players can't do quests in "Hard" mode until they do it in Normal mode first, but Zentu is a paying customer so we can tag along with him and do it the Hard way.

On YouTube I see characters choosing what level to be while on the ship, what is with that. Not that I want to right now, lots of muscle memory to build up. Don’t have my fancy keyboard with 18 assignable Keys any more.

I have been creating new classes just to try them out. The real bummer is to create a good character you can’t use the given Class types, but have to delve into creating from scratch, is that true?

I agree that usually the most 'optimized' characters require customized options rather than the preset builds.

However, perfectly optimized characters are not essential for most game content. It is possible to respec characters out if those preset builds, I think. It's not free though.

I bought VIP for 3 months to see if I will continue playing. Thanks for the info, min-maxing is not my thing. I hope we can play next week.
