Heh. You really gunched the permissions :puke:

On the Vanguard guild end, we would need around 30 people to make a decent run. That means either recruiting 25 :P or getting absorbed into another guild... (like OTG) :|

I heard from a reliable source that Sigil hopes to Start Vanguard Beta 3 in 2-3 weeks with a big rampup in the number of beta testers. Are any TNFCers planning to play or will the new progression server be keeping you busy?

As someone pointed out before, this game currently requires a high end machine - 1-2Gb RAM, good video card, maybe 3.0 GHz or better CPU. I plan to be there, would be nice to see some friends!

Well I just got invited into the Vanguard Beta. Yay! Knowing my luck, it will be a short run once I get it up and running. Of course the entire download is nearly 6 hours long (kinda reminds me of the old EQ days - but then again it is backed by SOE *snicker*). Only 3.5 hours left to go! Weeeee!

Got a beta 4 invite for Vanguard - guess they are closing on release. Not sure I meet the specs:

Here are the minimum specs for Vanguard:

Windows® 2000/XP
100% DirectX 9.0c compatible computer
100% DirectX compatible keyboard or input device
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel processor or 2400+ or higher model AMD processor
512 MB RAM
Vertex and Pixel shader 2.0 compatible hardware with 128MB of texture memory
100% DirectX compatible sound card
56K + Internet Connection
16X Speed DVD-ROM
20 Gigabytes Hard Drive Space
The latest version of DirectX 9.0c

I have:

1.6 GHz Pentium M
11 GB hard drive space left
128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X300 (guess it does support shader 2.0)
One neuron short of a loon...

My card won't make it either. I have been waiting for them to say the minimum required.

I also got an invite. My machine doesn't meet all the specs so I'm thinking of using my son's computer to check it out. Unfortunately that means going over to his place to play but at least I can see if it's worth an upgrade or a new computer. :|
