My son tried it but he said his favorite newbie quest was missing - the mail run from Felwithe to the bard guild in the Tree city.

Edit : not missing but the NPC won't respond to the last phrase..

I have never done that one, but in older quests you have to repeat exactly, including spelling errors.

That is the ideal solo server, free bind pots, free gate pots, free SoW, free haste etc. Mats stack. It is not god mode though.

Where is all this free SoW? And he logged in from the 99 install server list, does he need to do anything else with files, etc?

depends on your definition of "ideal"

Like I said, Cab will hate this there are buffers around the Druid Spires and other places like outside Surefall Glades. Buffing, Porting, Ogre sells Gate and Bind pots for zero plat. I had a Druid come to N. Queynos to bind me and explain a few things about the server. There are no shared banks, no PoK etc.

You can use P99 files without touching them, that is what I am doing. There is a newer set of files that allows things like maps, but I do not want to screw up P99 settings.

so you just log into the new server like normal without touching any files or do you make a new directory?

I just logged in, didn't change any files, and I have maps!!!

Just found out that my self ten minutes ago...great.
