Yes thanks! I was able to read the article yesterday but today the N.Y.Times wants me to log in to see it. The original research article is here. Some of the media reports leave the impression that the answer to CCD has been found but it looks to me like this is just another piece of the puzzle. Bromenshenk is a respected researcher but some people are questioning the validity of some of the methods employed in this study.

I saw "Queen of the Sun" today and thought it was a great documentary that no beekeeper should miss. It focused on the Colony Collapse Disorder and Organic Beekeeping, with lots of interesting video footage. It will be in Austin next Sunday at 7:30 PM at the Rollins Theatre.

I know. It is part of the film festival - unless I buy a pass for 50 - 150 bucks I will need to stand in line for an hour before the screening and hope there is a seat. Sounds like it is worth it though so that's our plan!
