Second Age Tool Kit

I asked on the Burgs forum how to make these. Here is the reply.

A guilded tailor buys the Burglar's Tools of the Second Age recipe from the Tailor's guild, you give him the symbol (and the other mats if needed) and he crafts it and gives it to you.

Let me know what you need to do this please Cab. I have the symbol, what else will you need?

There are burglar tool kits for level 60, 65, 75 and 85. I assume that you want the one for level 85? I have some skilling up to do before I can buy that recipe, so don't know what materials are needed. I can make the level 60 and 65 tools now, 75 should be soon. Keep looting those hides!

I have the Worn Symbol of Celebrimbor. What ever the highest level is that can use it.

Okay, it looks like third age items take Cracked Rhi Helvarch Sigil.
Second Age items take the Worn Symbol of Celebrimbor plus the Rhi Helvarch Sigil
.
First Age items take a Worn Symbol of the Elder King.

They all take several legendary shards.

It looks like the level 85 items take a Tarnished Symbol of Celebrimbor and a Tarnished Crest of Rohan, plus 5 legendary shards.

I'm basing this on what Fred needs to make legendary stuff. My tailor can't afford to buy recipes he doesn't need and can't buy them all anyway.

So it looks like I'm shooting for level 75 second age, will probably be able to do that about 200 large hides from now.

So it's back to Great River for hides. Where do you get the other Sigil?

I don't remember where the Sigil drops, think I read that it sometimes comes from harvesting as a bonus drop, pretty rare. I've been buying them at auction for 4 to 5 gold.

Okay, I've got the recipe. I don't need too many large hides to make the tools, but burned through most of the magnificent and extraordinary ones skilling up, so could use more of those when you start playing Kuur again.

The grumpy dwarf is now complaining that he can't get the bloody fur off his pretty armor. He sent about 50 ext. hides just now. Will get more later.

Sent about 40 more. When a mob reaches 65, they switch to Large hides.
