I've seen several ideas like this in several games that seem good at first and then fizzle out after a while. I can see this working in LOTRO for players who have level 85 characters to fall back on. I think it would be fun and hard. One drawback for us is that the group might expect to play together more days a week than we are willing to give.

I agree. That is probably why they have a kinship instead of a fixed group.
