Wu's Fighting Gauntlets

The Wu's Fighting Gauntlets are currently the only piece of the Wu's Fighting Armor Set that can be crafted on the P99 server. The trivial skill to make these is only a little higher than the trivial for cured silk and IMO worth shooting for. The biggest obstacle is that they require a Vial of Viscous Mana that must be created by an enchanter using the Thicken Mana spell. It looks like this spell can only be purchased from a Brownie merchant in Lesser Faydark. Brownies are mean.

Hmmm, sounds dangerous. Wonder if it is being sold in the tunnel?

Probably wouldn't be worth buying the viscous mana in the tunnel but if the spell were available there it might be better than trying to fool the brownies.

I thought this thread might inspire an enchanter who runs around the world casting illusions to obtain pretty steins. Looks like it only requires Alliance and Minor Illusion (plus a bit of luck I suppose).

I read that before. It is a level 12 spell, my guy is only 8. I do think either him or Dragrd could get the spell though.

Got my enchanter to 12 and went to visit the brownies, the guards con threatening, cast Alliance spell on them, still threatening, cast Minor Illusion on myself and became a tree stump, still threatening. I chickened out. I think I could get into the compound using invis but am guessing that the merchants still wouldn't sell to me and I would die in there.

I did some research and some people say Alliance works to get past the guards and Minor Illusion to get the merchants to sell the spell, others say this does not work. The consensus seems to be that wolf form from a druid is the way to go so this is probably what I will try. First I will go to HHK to get pet spells and make sure that no one there sells the spell. (Later on it was sold there by an Erudite lady but I don't think she exists on our server.)

Hmm, if you can, buy two. Graphend has a Breeze spell for you.

On second thought do not bother for Gaphend, he will never make 12, but I am sure they would deliver a profit in the tunnel.

Does Gaphend have his level 8 pet spell?

Yes, and 12 if needed...oh maybe I can save you a trip tomorrow night.

I already bought the lvl 12 spell and have a couple more waiting in the bank
