Serpent Sight

Post by Cabkin »

The wiki is not always right but it says this spell is available in Qeynos. Has Windari checked there? If not in Qeynos I just verified it is for sale in West Freeport. Mansel could pick up a copy before returning to Halas.

I have not checked Qeynos. The only vendor I found was in Oasis. I'd love it if Mansel could get one for me.
The other one available in Oasis is Spirit Sight(see invis). Perhaps it is also in Freeport?

Mansel has the Serpent Sight spell, will cost you 5p. Maybe Cabkin will make a trip to Oasis. He needs to get a research container there and Mansel is too scared of dying in the desert.

Mansel has both your spells, is on the way back but decided to camp at the High Pass zone line until the orc population is a bit less.

Mansel has returned from his great adventure and can probably be available to transfer the spells if you want to schedule a time to meet. A group showed up to kill orcs and he was able to sneak through the first part of High Hold Pass. The gnoll side was a bit more trouble. He was trying to follow a mage out when he received a buff, looked like SoW. Thinking that maybe someone else was there to help he decided to make a run for it. (It wasn't SoW - the red box around the buff should have been a clue.) Running the gauntlet past a series of gnoll casters was a scary experience. Then came the dark screen. Blinded by a flash of light, Mansel continued running and miraculously made it past the zone line.

The rest of the journey was relatively uneventful. Mansel turned in a few gnoll teeth and is now level 9, working on combat skills. He has a few more HP than the rogue and would probably make a better tank in most situations, but I will probably bring the rogue if we ever decide to descend into the lower levels of Blackburrow.
