After the intro quest involving finding clues and confronting the Grinich the reward was a stocking, 2 slot bag with 20% wt reduction. This bag can be upgraded by doing more quests. After completing the baking and fishing quests, Santug's list and a quest for a dolly in Butcherblock, my monk now has a 10 slot stocking with 100% weight reduction. From what I overheard in PoK if you missed the intro quest you can still get the stocking!

quests are not hard, though the baking one takes a certain amount of skill and the fishing one takes time - for retrieving parts of Saqntug's list don't forget that you (hopefully) still have a staff that grants "see invisible"
