Who's going to play Vanguard?

Post by Menset »

Just looking to see how many hear are interested in Vanguard.

I plan to play. It appears that Vanguard, especially crafting, will require a guild presence. If we had enough interest, we may just want to start our own Vanguard guild instead of joining the OTG mostrosity.

If we could get Tam, Sencha, Bordulmer, and Tarraxt to wander back in we could have a great core.

Huh, it doesn't give me the opportunity to vote. In fact I can see the results of the vote as if I already voted, yet I haven't.

But since I can't vote, I'll just pop my answer right here. I do intend to play Vanguard either as a beta tester or once it is released on market.

I voted Don't know. As of right now, I 'd say no. But I might change my mind if some changes are made. Even if I do, I won't be leaving EQ.

By the way, you're going to need a very good system to run it. On my system I can run around in PoK with no lag, but have tremendous lag in Vanguard. Hopefully, they'll be able to clear it up.
May the spirit of the adventure remain with you always.

Aye, system specs may be an issue - I am hoping my laptop will run it... The developers are also taking a hard-nosed stance on that topic - basically "tough, buy a new computer if you want to play."

Time will tell.

The only hope is most betas have extra code built in to track things. Some games speed up when this code is removed.

I don't have the option to vote, either, but my answer is yes. I plan to try it.

Tarrax and Teniny I fixed your permissions. Not sure how your voting got shut off, but it should allow you to vote now.

I have the same problem Rawlden but my vote will probably be no. I just have too much stuff going on IRL.

Permissions should be fixed now.

Not much I maybe get log into EQ2 once a month and get to play for a couple hours. Between work, going back to school (which I am taking serious this time), and the family my free time is little to none. :)

Didn't give me a chance to vote. Vote: YES

As I have stated many times I'm going to check it out but I'm still going to devote the majority of my time to EQ. I would like to join a guild there so lets definitely get one started. My expectations are high for Vanguard and I hope we all aren't disappointed. It will have to be good to draw me away from EQ but I will give it a fair shot.
