I have started the quest chain to get my eagle and a nice staff. I have to kill Grimgore and a bear in the Misty Mountains and collect a bunch of stuff in Angmar.

So now for the

question - I am in Bree, how the heck do I get to Angmar????

I think you go to Esteldin and then from there to Angmar. Did you get the eagle that Fred sent in the mail?

(and I thought you were doing Yule quests - did you get the pretty horse?)

Thanks. Yes, I got the talisman, thanks. That's how I found out I couldn't use it without completing the class quests.

I did some of the yule quests, I have to do the tier ones for a gold coin.

Great, we are not stuck with having to win in Dol Goldur! It will be fun to try and die though. Take the taxi to Aughaire.

I got to Angmar but cannot kill the elites I have to pass to find the wights I need to kill. Also have to get a drop from a boss in a level 50 (?) instance. so this will take a while - doing the collections that I can.
I remember running past some leeches recently on our way to somewhere...I need drops from them. Does anyone remember them? It seems like it was just past the sulfury region, am I wrong?

We can concentrate on this next time we play. The leeches are right outside where we entered to park.

If push comes to shove I can bring Dragrd or Neihi to help with the baddies.

I believe the drop of the level fifty guy can be bought from Skirmish Curiosities NPC. We may have to run some skirmishes to get you the amount of marks you need.

Checked on the skirmish vendor - I need 28 more marks. No idea how I got the 540 it says I have - don't recall doing any skirmishes with Ani.

I need bubbling droplets from the leeches and hateful worm eyes from worms. Also two things from the wights in Angmar - one is fingernails, don't remember the other. I killed a boatload of worms in Misty Mountains but no drops. On of the requirements for the drops is completion of Vol 1 Book 6, Chapter 6, and we have done that.

Do you guys have similar class quests we could work on?

Skirmish marks are a fairly common reward for the daily Yule Festival quest, the marks are shared between characters on your account. Do the dailies with all your characters today and tomorrow and I'll bet you pick up at least 28.

I've seen these drop in quantities from 150 to 500.

Dragrd just did his today so he could help in East Angmar. Those quest are given at 45, but are for a full group of level 50 people. That is why they started selling them on skirm dealers.

looking at the loremaster pets - it seems that you need to finish the epic quest line Volume 1, book 2 (The Red Maid), in order to get a pet bunny and the trait "Friend of the Wild" which is apparently needed for all the cosmetic pets
