Halflings

Post by SamL »

My Druid is lvl 4 so far. I think he will start tailoring. I will leave it up to you if you want to loot the dead guards. I looted a shield and spear. Spear will pay for tailoring skills. Karana provides in wondrous ways.

I have nothing against looting dead guards, or dead anything, but the necro who was killing guards when I was there was taking everything. I will save my tailoring stuff for you, have a bunch of pelts. I think Teniny said she will be baking. I'll probably take up smithing but will be slow.

There was a guildie that was leaving the corpse. I did not identify myself. The spear was worth ten plat.

I put two shields in the bank for Y'all, just in case the windfall doesn't last.

I got a shield and spear - hate to miss out on 10 plat but will be using the spear.

A mage was killing deputies and I think he forgot to loot one of them because all the others were clean.

Good weapon. If you loot any honey combs off of Bixies, save them. Chanters need three of them to give to Kizzy (Drgr's) mom, and thirty gold, not three plat and she will give you a HoneyJum drink that is needed for the stein of Magguk quest. The drink should sell pretty good as it is time consuming to gather. Very seldom are the honey combs sold to vendors.

They are even killing them in town, now. Good thing we do not need many guards to stay alive.

I am going through level four just killing wolves and spiders for tailoring. Half way through and only six ruined wolf pelts.

What is the druid's name?

I have one honeycomb, will save it. I also have 10-12 ruined pelts that I will trade for tattered/patched armor. One reason you may be having trouble finding pelts is your guild buddy McShaggin was wiping out the mobs in the newbie yard for the last hour or so. I'd think a level 27 has better things to do.

The wizzie that was killing guards inspected my equipment and then gave me a spear and shield. Good thing I had the ones I had looted stashed in my pack. :)

I assume that you have read the tailoring guides and know what to do. I don't remember exactly what they say but recommend combining spiderling silk until skill level 15 then the tattered/patched armor to level 26. All 3 of us can wear that armor for now. After that it would be good to make leather padding to level 31 and save it for me to use making armor. I can make studs for you to use with the medium pelts if you want to go that route.

I'll also work on brewing if no one else wants to. Between baking and brewing we should be able to use up a lot of that foraged stuff that will be filling your bags.

Can't remember his name right now. My Tailoring is at 18 now. I have started making cheap pieces of armor. I noticed McShaggin is no longer in the guild. Good riddance.

I made a batch of Honey Jum just to check it out. My info is correct. It is Lore, but not no drop.

I gave our purdy Cleric a shield, think she sold it for spells. Imagine that. I kept another for her.

What is your Warrior's name?

My warrior is Barolo. I'll give you those hides the next time we are on together.

That deputy killing wizard tried to give me 45 plat.

The wizard gave me a shield also, I kept one and sold the other. I have two medium quality wolf hides for Clinut.

Ah yes, Clinut. Can't decide whether to call him Clint or Nut. I think I will bring Dragrd over to visit his mommy, and maybe Yolla.

I have two honeycombs and a bag and bank with pelts. Not the ruined kind. I have medium and low quality wolf, a black wolf pelt, and bat fur. Also snake scales.
Just made level 4 and the grind is boring......

Sell the Black Wolf, bat fur and scales, keep the eggs for baking. Don't worry about getting to lvl 5, don't burn out.

We can do LOTRO this week if you want.
