Consenting an Alt

Post by Cabkin »

I thought that one could not consent an alt to drag a corpse, but in ooc the other night someone said that you could. I got a chance to try it tonight (Cabkin was slain by the griffin) and it worked!

I have always done that. Dragr was created to pull Gussok's big butt out of dungeons.

Good thing to know for next time that Paladin Lightfeather, or whatever her name is, kills Rawldex in EC. I can send my gnome out to drag him to a safe place for looting.
Everything will be alright in the end. And if everything is not alright, then it is not yet the end.

So how does it work? Just do /consent altname ? Then camp to alt and he has permission?

If so, that is great news!

Yes that's how it works, don't know if it was that way on the SOE servers. I was surprised, assumed you could only consent a player who was on line at the time.
