Somebody was giving away a dragoon dirk in WC over the weekend, which I grabbed as an upgrade to my forged rapier on my L10 bard. Very serendipitous since I was trying to grind some coin for a weapon upgrade. The person also gave me a Whip of Strangulation, which is a great (WAR, RNG,BRD,ROG) low level 6/24 1HS weapon. It procs choke at L10 - 17 DD + 12/tick DoT. It "feels" perfect for helping to burn down the mobs at L10 without feeling over-powered.
Per the Wiki, it looks like 50p is a typical price.
